Beef Bowl Recipe

We LOVE rice bowl recipes, but this beef bowl recipe is especially a fave of mine because it's so EASY to make! Like my BBQ Brisket Sandwich, this beef bowl recipe uses leftovers from my Slow Cooker Beef Brisket, so all I have to do is start the rice and saute some mushrooms, peppers, and onions and then assemble the beef bowls. Literally, this takes 20 minutes to get on the table!

Another reason to love this beef bowl recipe is the taste and texture! Tender Certified Angus Beef® brand brisket dripping in a tangy homemade bbq sauce is delicious served over rice.

You could stop there and be happy as a basket full of puppies, but go ahead and saute the vegetables while the rice is cooking to round out the meal and add that extra layer of deliciousness and crunch of fresh veggies. The mushrooms and peppers really do add a ton of flavor to this beef bowl recipe. Top the beef bowl with fresh cilantro and dig in! You are going to love it!!

Low Carb Alternative

For a low carb-ish alternative substitute cauliflower rice in place of regular rice. I've done this and it is delicious. The BBQ sauce with the brisket is not exactly low carb but everything else is, so that's why I call it low carb-ISH.

How To Make A Beef Bowl

Planning ahead is key to making this beef bowl recipe. Plan to make my Beef Brisket in Slow Cooker recipe and enjoy the sweet and tangy BBQ brisket meat the first night with mashed potatoes, my best baked french fries recipe, or maybe The Best Coleslaw Ever All are good choices to pair with my Beef Brisket slow cooker recipe.

Another night during the week you can whip up this Beef Bowl Recipe using some of the leftover BBQ brisket. Just make the rice and saute the vegetables while the rice is cooking. Assemble the bowls and enjoy!

But WAIT! There's more! Meal planning doesn't have to stop there. If you still have leftover BBQ brisket, you NEED to make these easy BBQ Brisket Sandwiches. The flavor combo of the BBQ brisket with smoky Gruyere cheese piled high on a grilled Vienna roll is on point! It's an easy recipe your family will ask for again and again!

Rice Bowl Recipes

Make dinner time easier with rice bowl recipes like this Beef Bowl. Rice bowls are great for busy weeknights, because most of the time you can make the components of the rice bowl ahead of time and store everything in the refrigerator until ready to heat and assemble the rice bowls for dinner. Rice bowls are also great when feeding a crowd. It's fun to make up different flavor combos and let everyone create their own bowl.
