In a pinch for a dessert or a birthday cake, this is the recipe you need! Recently, Don called and told me his whole family was coming for dinner, and I had less than 2 hours to prepare! Luckily I was at the grocery store when he called, so I picked up more to feed a crowd and rushed home to make the dinner, set the table, clean up the house a little, etc... I'm sure you get the idea. In fairness to Don, I did ask him to invite the family over, so he didn't just throw it on me. I only wished they had decided to come a little sooner! Oh well, with help from Madison we were able to pull it off and have a delicious dessert too!
I felt a little like a super hero, but I kept it simple and was able to make my Pan Roasted Chicken Thighs...
along with my Orzo Pasta with Spinach and Parmesan as well as this delicious Easy Ice Cream Sandwich Cake for dessert. We gobbled every last bit up! There were no leftovers!

DeleteThis is great! I made it once with Oreo and also another time with Heath Bar bits! I dressed it up with Carmel and chocolate syrup. You could use any of your favorite candy or cookies. The possibilities are endless! Also very cost effective!
