Every Christmas I put aside my strong feelings about not mixing chocolate and peppermint, and make these pretty little cookies for my 2 favorite people in the world. They love 'em!
Most everyone loves these cookies! They are a regular on the cookie trays I share with friends and family. Apparently, I am the only one who isn't a huge fan of this flavor combo. Go figure!
I do love how festive these cookies look! They are so pretty and make a beautiful addition to holiday cookies trays. They are a great way to spread some holiday cheer and show your friends and family some lovin' from the oven!
Is there anyone else out there in the world that is like moi and would prefer to keep their chocolate and peppermint separate? If so, rest assured, the rich chocolate flavor of the plain cookie is good enough to eat on its own, but why the heck would anyone do that when you can dip that deliciously rich chocolate cookie into a creamy bowl of white chocolate?! I'll make some just like that for me to enjoy and then top the rest with the crunchy peppermint candy we smashed to smithereens!
