Even though I think moms are special everyday and should be honored more than just once a year, I do love Mother's Day! It's nice to dedicate one day a year to all the beautiful mothers in our world. When I was young, I remember making cards for my mom and being excited to share it with her and doing my best to make her day special. My mom recently moved just a few miles from us, and I feel so blessed I get to spend this Mother's Day with her! I look forward to helping to make her day special...although I won't torture her with my awful artwork like I did as a kid <grin>.
